Mobile, Alabama - We begin Free Friday tonight with a big thank you to first responders..
Auntie Anne's Pretzels in Bel Air Mall in Mobile is offering free pretzels to any firefighter, police officer, or paramedic.
The offer is only good until closing time tonight..
All you have to do is show up in your uniform or show your i-d-.


Time is also running out for free story time this fall at all Mobile Public Library branches.
It started this week.
Each branch sets different times and days for children of all ages. They even have story times for after school.
Fall story time runs until December.
Most branches meet once a week..
You have to register your child.

A West Mobile Church is sponsoring a Safe and Secure Event tomorrow at the Chick Fil A on Schillinger Road.
Sonrise Baptist Church is kicking off their 40 days of community with this event.
It starts at ten and runs until two.
McGruff the crime fighting dog will be there plus the Mobile Police Department will be set up to put together fingerprinting kits for children.
Firefighters are taking part and a small health fair will be held..


Tomorrow in Pensacola you can learn more about the USS Oriskany.
The National Aviation Museum is holding Discovery Saturday.
It kicks off at eleven in the morning.
"The Mighty O" was sunk 24 miles off Pensacola Beach on back in 2006.
It is now the world's largest man made reef and a popular dive destination.
A retired navy captain will be on hand to talk about his experience serving on the USS Oriskany.


Next Tuesday you can catch a free concert the the Univerisity of Mobile.
Kathy Dean told us about Duane Plash's concert called Themes of Love.
He is an assistant music professor at the college who plays the piano.
The concert is September 15th at seven. It will be held in the Moorer Auditorium.


Need help understanding your taxes? Next week, The Baldwin County Sales and Use Tax Department is holding a free taxpayer workshop.
It's geared towards businesses owners.
It'll be held Tuesday the 15th from five until seven at night at the county central annex auditorium in Robertsdale.


Thomas hospital is hosting a Heart Doc's Southern Fried Guide to Heart Health next week.
Cardiologist Doctor Karl Hakmiller is the guest speaker at the seminar.
You'll be able to learn heart healthy recipes and exercises Thursday at 9-30 in the morning at The Homestead Village Ballroom.
