You could be at risk for a heart attack or stroke and not even know it. The staff at Cardiovascular Associates in Mobile is holding free health screenings to test for peripheral artery disease. This entails checking the blood pressure in the arm and leg, to see if they are equal. If they are not, this could be a sign, that there is a blood clot in the leg. Clogged arteries can signal trouble. You do not have to have health insurance to sign up for the screening.

The free screenings will take place September 1, 2, and 3rd from 8AM to 3PM. Cardiovascular Associates is located at 1901 Springhill Avenue. To make an appt, call (251)300-2240.
