It's hard to believe anyone could ever forget the tragedy at the Dauphin Island bridge earlier this year.

On a day all about presents and toys, the Phan family puts their gifts beside a bridge shrouded in fog and sadness. "This is going to be the first Christmas they going to miss out on and we're just trying to treat them like they still around," says family spokesman Kam Phengsisomboun.

The bridge is the last place they know that Danny, Lindsey, Ryan and Hannah were alive.

Their tiny bodies thrown from the bridge. Hundreds of volunteers would search the water for weeks, before bringing them all home.

So relatives bring flowers, stockings full of candy, presents and their favorite food. "We put each kids name on it so they know which is which or who is who."

This area at the waters edge near Cedar Point for so long the focus of the rescue and later the recovery now, for the family this is sacred ground. "This is where they lost their lives so that's why we come over here."

Nancy Phan didn't want to talk to the media. She is still grieving but trying to move on according to Phengsisomboun. "She's doing okay. She's doing a lot better but it's not going to go back to the same. Never."

Lam Loung is charged with five counts of capital murder and remains in the Mobile County jail. His trial is scheduled for March.

i think lam long should be cut up into 4 pieces & thrown off the bridge!!!

I think Lam Loung and Casey Anthony need to get married!!! They’d make the perfect couple as long as their FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, i can’t say what i want here so free speech is out, but what i can say is that if we quit coddling our criminals and treated them accordingly, our society would be better off.
