A former Catholic school teacher is in jail accused of inviting a man to molest two children in her home.

The arrest is the result of a child pornography case we first reported on News Five earlier this week.

Melissa Gray, 29, is accused of distributing child pornography to Jonathan Bervig, a 33-year-old Milton man arrested Tuesday.

According to an affidavit obtained by News Five, Bervig lead investigators to Gray, who allegedly arranged a sexual encounter between Bervig, a 7-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl.

The affidavit claims Bervig and Gray initially planned to drug the kids with Percocet and sexually assault them while they slept.

Gray was arrested at her home in Chickasaw by officers from the Alabama Bureau of Investigations. The US Attorneys Office in Mobile is handling the case.

Bervig is charged with four counts of processing child pornography, while Gray is charged with distributing child pornography.

Melissa is by nature off I’m sure her drug abuse amped her unstable behaviors . Think about it,Who does something like this? Druggie or not she committed a crime against children.

I am sad to say that I knew Ms. Gray and the 7-year-old child. Ms. Gray is pure evil. She is an unstable and disgusting waste of space. This story breaks my heart. The little boy is one the most beautiful and loving children I have ever come arcoss. She deserves to have the book thrown at her and buried under the jail where she belongs.

The problem with the world is what should happen to this lady won’t happen until she is locked up in jail. That’s even if she is sent to jail! Our justice sytem these days just pop these people on the hand or put them in jail for a while. Instead of longer sentences we need to go back to giving them longer necks!
