Former Bayou La Batre Councilman Arrested On Arson Charges

Alabama Bayou La Batre  Police say Henry Barnes tried to burn down his house on Downey Street during last week's evacuation that was ordered when a conrol burn got out of control.

Police have arrested former Bayou La Batre Henry Barnes on arson charges.

Barnes is accused of trying to burn down his house on Downey Street during last week's evacuation that was ordered when a control burn got out of control.

Barnes told News 5 he set the fire to get rid of some fleas.
