Foley Man Arrested In Louisiana For Murder

Foley A Foley man is arrested in Louisiana and charged with murdering a fishing boat captain during a fishing trip.

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - A 44-year-old Alabama man has been arrested,
accused of killing the captain of the fishing boat they were on
about 18 miles off Louisiana's coast.
David W. Welker, the FBI's special agent in charge, says Thomas
J. Poole the Fourth of Foley was booked with second-degree murder
in the death of 53-year-old Michael G. Holman of Bon Secour.
The alleged crime happened early Wednesday on the fishing
vessel, Miss Sharlott. Holman was the captain of the vessel.
Plaquemines Parish Coroner's investigator Scott Polk says Holman
had visible trauma on his body and apparently got into a fight on
the boat.

The boat was a commercial fishing vessel and the captain was a commercial fishing captain and the boat was based in Bon Secour, a commercial fishing village. Father and sons ran a commercial fishing business.

The Captain attacked first. This guy is a good man trying to earn an extra $ in this tough time. Drunk captain and sober crew = tragedy. My prayers to all families involved!

Vessel refers to a boat larger than a row boat. I missed the part where it says it’s a commercial boat. Sorry!!!

Many of these commercial fishing boats are 40 - 50 ft long and stay out for a week or more. This one seems to have had a two-man crew though some of the larger boats carry 4-5. Many are similar to a shrimp boat

Ok, this story has a lot of holes in it. What size boat? Where did it leave from? Who said anything about living on it? A fishing boat could start at any size and I see a bunch of idiots take a 19 ft boat 40 miles out snapper fishing. Oh, Clay from the looks of him I don’t think momma cares. One less offender off the streets. Maybe even 2. Wait for the rest of the story.

he had to go al the way to lousisiana to gte arrested, he coudlnt do it over here? now his momma has to get him an out of state lawyer, go visit him out of state, and then go see him at an out of state prison if he is convicted. this character has no feelings for others.
