Do you think your dog has what it takes to be the best dressed? Well, some pet owners in Baldwin County did. That's why they brought them out to the LiveOak Village Assisted Living Center in Foley for a dog show and pet adoption today, Saturday, June 13, 2009. Prizes were given for the prettiest, cutest, best dressed and other categories. Organizers say many senior's pets are an important part of their lives.

“We are a very pet friendly community, we allow small dogs and cats to live here with our residents and we know how important that is to people, not to have to get rid of their pets as they grow older,” says Marketing Director Susan Storey. The Baldwin County Humane Society was also there, adopting out pets. The event was part of the center's annual senior celebration.
