Two people drowned in flood waters over the weekend. 75-year-old John Stevens of Florala, Alabama was killed in Okaloosa County, Florida when his vehicle was swept away. And, in D'Iberville, Mississippi a similar tragedy. Police say 36-year-old Eugene Dixon Jr. was on his way home from work early Saturday morning when his car was overcome by flood waters. Those who knew Dixon say he was a kind man, who would do anything for anyone, "would give up anything he had if somebody else needed it.There's not going to be anybody like him. He was one of a kind," said childhood friend, Dawn Swetman. Dixon is survived by his father. His father was too upset to go on camera but says he wants to thank people for their support and condolences. He will lay his son to rest Saturday.
