A family feud added unexpected fireworks to a mobile home fire in Elsanor Thursday. Firefighters were forced to put down their hoses and break up a fight in the front yard! The homeowners and their relatives were locked up in a bruising brawl that sent bodies flying and falling to the ground!

"It makes it harder on our job," says Elsanor Fire Chief Alan Paul. "We had to pull out and away from the mobile home and deal with the fight. The sheriff wasn't here so we had to break it up until they arrived."

The homeowner, William Hadley, wasn't laughing. Hadley lost everything in the blaze and doesn't have insurance.

"It's upsetting for me to lose everything," says Hadley. "Then I got them coming up here and starting stuff and fighting with us. I'm going to press charges!"

While firefighters put out hot spots, sheriff's deputies secured the scene, trying to figure out who started the fight and who was going to spend the night in jail. Deputies say arrests are likely. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Has the cause of the fire been determined? I hate to see someone lose their home and it is sad. However, I too know this group of people and if this is the first fight you have seen with them, you should see it in color. They do this on almost a daily basis. It is too funny and uncalled for. Grown people fighting…guess that is how they raise their children. lol I would still like to find out how it started..(the fire that is)..grin

RabidPooh, OK so your a certified Firefighter, and as much you are in essence a brother (or sister) Firefighter. This does not excuse attempting to riduicule or insult another Brother (or sister) Firefighter via a public forum. Judge not lest ye be judged. Enough said, apology accepted.
I wish to thank everyone for their support.

No personal disrespect at either of you. Glad you were there to help this man out on possibly the worst day of his life. Since you question my qualifications, I have Firefighter I / II, Haz-Mat Technician, and other certs , so i’ve got the training and years in, but this isn’t a contest man. I just went by the video which showed a firefighter in minimal PPE, in a previously burning structure, with smoke blowing past him. I assumed this was the trailer still smoking, therefore presenting a respitory hazard. If you’re comfortable doing that, more power to you.

Much respect.

Mr. Hadley and his family are good friends of mine, baked or not! With a mother, and siblings who instead of lending a hand in support; choose to show their IGNORANCE & LACK of RESPECT on national television; who wouldn`t go get baked?

Only obama could be proud of this bunch of scrappers! For 1 week and 1week only he will give them a subprime mortgage on a slightly used $500,000.00 home and after one week the APR goes to 79.63%. Better hurry this offer is only good for 1 week. And if you vote for him,he’ll see to it that you fall into the bailout entitlemnet so you keep the house w/ no monies due. Sorry you lost your crib Dude. How long before Elberta is annexed into mobile? Oh my bad they don’t have a wal-mart do they? They might be safe from annexation. Ha!

dew26m….
I usually don’t post anything mean especially in the loss of someone or their belongings but I just had to this time….it was too good to pass up. But you are right….they all looked pretty baked!

camaysha, it’s mighty funny that you say that, cause I thought and typed that, but ran out of words, so I edited it! HAHAHA! To be honest, they all kinda looked pretty wound out on something! Rather it be meth or crack, they looked pretty baked! wink

While I’m not usually one to try to correct journalism or media postings, one of my pet peeves is DIRECTLY MISQUOTING SOMEONE. I mean I could be incorrect, but usually whenever I see text inside of “quotation marks”, that means the name either preceding or following the sentence stated those words.

“It’s upsetting for me to lose everything,” says Hadley. “Then I got them coming up here and starting stuff and fighting with us. I’m going to press charges!”

Mr. Hadley NEVER stated HE was gonna press charges he said “They are!”

As I said I am no reporter, nor would I wish to be, however we the public depend on reporters to provide us with reliable and truthful information. Misquoting someone is like putting words into their mouths, and that’s just wrong

TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND ALL EMERGENCY RESPONSE WORKERS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK [/B]

TO rabidpooh, if the only life he puts in danger, even though that was not the case, is his, WHY DO YOU CARE?

They were probably fighting because their meth lab just blew up…there goes their profits!

Too funny!!! Sorry about the home but, some of the comments posted on these types of forum’s are just hilarious. Good job to the Fire Department! grin Does anyone know what started the fire?
