The Port City's first baby of the New Year was born this morning at USA Children's and Women's hospital.
Little Baranda Floyd was born at 12:22 am. Weighing in at only five pounds, 14 ounces, her parents say they couldn't be more excited, especially since Baranda was a week early. This is Shawana Johnson and Dedrick Floyd's first child. Congratulations!

WHEN YOU TOLD ME LAST NIGHT THAT SHE WAS IN LABOR;I TOLD THEM THAT SHE MIGHT BE THE FIRST BABY IN 2009…....MY LITTLE COUSIN IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! ONE IS ENOUGH!!!!! BUT, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
