RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - CF Sauer Foods Inc. has recalled its GoldMedal spaghetti sauce mix from stores in Mississippi, Kentucky and
Alabama. The company says the produce contains a milk ingredient
that could cause an allergic reaction.
The Virginia-based firm recalled all packages of the mix with
the code date: 8119R. The mix comes in a pouch and displays a UPC
code of 0-52500-02104-7.
Company spokesman Chuck Adams says 234 cases have been
distributed since April 28. The firm says people who have an
allergy or severe sensitivity to milk risk serious or
life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
Refunds are available from stores selling the mix.
Sauer officials can be reached at 1-800-688-5676 or
