July 4th celebrations lit up the Mobile skyline tonight, July 4th, 2009. Thousands turned out at Battleship Park and along the Mobile Bay causeway to watch the fireworks show put on by the city of Mobile. News 5's Chad Petri got a birds eye view as he shot this video from high atop the Holiday Inn downtown. The fireworks came right after a patriotic concert by the Mobile Pops. Neighborhoods nearby also let off their own patriotic explosions in different celebrations.
