Fight Sends Baker Student To The Hospital

Alabama Mobile One student has been suspended.

A Baker High School student is hospitalized in stable condition after undergoing surgery following a fight at the school.
Relatives said the student who was hurt suffered serious facial injuries.
Mobile Public School Officials said the fight happened Tuesday at Baker.
They did not identify the students involved, but a relative said Tobias Tate was one of the students and had to be sent to the hospital.
School officials said one student has been suspended because of the fight, and the student that was hurt was immediately taken to the first aid office.
Nancy Pierce with the Mobile County Public School System said, "The nurse who was an R.N. called his parents immediately and when they showed up, she suggested that he needed to go to the hospital to be checked out. They could go by ambulance or the parents could take him in the car, and they decided to take him in their car."
A police report was filed in the case.
School officials said resource officers are interviewing students that were in the area and are continuing their investigation.

On a sad note, I have been told that Baker is the best public High school in the county.
Maybe the county should turn the school system over to the private sector.
If Alabama is #50 in education and Mobile is last in the state, would you fly in a airplane made by locals?

Okay people. The fight happened between two friends, Dorian and Tobias. They were goofing off when Dorian ACCIDENTALLY hit Tobias in the face. Tobias threw the first punch, Dorian fought back and broke Tobias’ jaw. I’ll admit that fighting is not a good thing, but self defense when someone accidentally gets hurt is different. Dorian got jumped by a group of kids just last fall at school. Things happen, a lot of times it happens at school, oh well.

ok my name is Amber i go to Baker High school now!! it is gettin really bad i know who did this to him!!! its not right at all what they did he didnt desourve this at all.. he is a really great guy!! The guy that hit him in the face as a 9th grader his name is Paries Browner!!!!..
