
- The driver of the car hauler, who was killed when he was hit head-on by an 18-wheeler, has been identified as 45-year-old David Boles of Beavercreek, Ohio.
- The identity of the other driver killed has not been released. State Troopers are having a hard time reaching his next of kin.

Westbound Interstate 10 is reopened to traffic after repairs are made to the roadway
Wednesday 6:54 p.m.
- State Troopers say westbound I-10 is not expected to reopen until at least midnight.
- Contractors are being brought in to clear the wreckage.
- One the 18-wheelers and torched cars are gone, the Alabama Department Of Transportation will have to do repave that stretch of interstate.
Wednesday 4:01 p.m.
- State Troopers say two people are dead.
- The accident happened around 2:00 p.m.
- A witness told News 5 that the box truck was headed eastbound on I-10. The truck blew a tire, drove across the median and hit the car hauler head-on.
- One lane of eastbound I-10 has reopened.
- Both westbound lanes of I-10 will be closed for several hours.
- The driver of the car hauler worked for a company called United Road out of Spring Hill, Tennessee and was hauling the cars to San Antonio, Texas.
Wednesday 2:40 p.m.
I-10 is closed in both directions because of a fiery wreck between two 18-wheelers at mile marker 44 in Loxley.
Loxley Police Chief Chip Cason says an 18-wheeler hauling cars collided with a box truck in the westbound lanes. The cars are on fire and the box truck is overturned.
Eastbound I-10 is closed at the Hwy 59/Loxley Exit. Westbound I-10 is closed at the Wilcox Road Exit.
