She's just 19 months old, but Jasmine Phengsisomboun's dad says his daugther knows something is wrong with her cousins.
"They were all the same size pretty much," said Kam Phengsisomboun. "They all get together, play together, and even sleep together."
Jasmine was close in age with all four of the children, who investigators believe were thrown from the Dauphin Island Bridge by their father. Phengsisomboun says the kids shared everything, and figuring out how to explain why Danny, Lindsey, Hannah and Ryan aren't coming home will be hard.
"She's out here every day, every night looking at their picture," said Phengsisomboun.
Pictures of the family have been at the center of many memorials over the last two weeks. The family and the community often grieved together.
While investigators wait for an autopsy to positively identify a body believed to be the last of the missing children, family members are moving forward with funeral arrangements.
A private service is tenatively scheduled for Saturday morning and a public memorial on Sunday. When firm plans are made we'll let you know.

Louisiana needs to just release Hannah….so she can be with her siblings….....

Explaining the loss of a love one or love ones to a child is difficult.  My daughter was 2 when her brother died but she knew that something had happen to him.  At first the family tried to cover the the truth up from her but she was smart and knew that something bad had happen to him and he wasn’t coming home.

From personal experience keep the children’s memory alive with her.  Talk about the children with her and explain to her that they are in Heaven.  Find a children’s book that might be able to explain this…even the pictures would help.  Make sure that their pictures are around her and let her talk about her cousins.  Keep telling her about the good times that the five of them share together.

My heart goes out to the family!  May they find peace and comfort and know that the State of Alabama is praying and at the same time aching for them.
