The Sanctuary SalonThe Sanctuary SalonFairhope stylists are clipping hair and fighting cancer at the same time today. Workers at the sanctuary salon held a cut-a-thon today. At $25 donation went to the American Cancer Society.Customers get their hair cut in a posh salon. Local restaurants provided food. There’s live music and a dunking booth as part of the event. Organizers say they wanted to give something back.
“We're actually very fortunate that we're really busy, especially the economy the way it is and so we decided since we're so busy, we'll do something good,” says owner Brandi Hoover. Hoover says they're trying to raise $2,000 for the American Cancer Society. Stylists hit the ground running with a steady stream of customers starting at 10 a.m.
