MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Scientists from nine states in theSoutheast and the Caribbean open a three-day conference in
Montgomery on bugs.
The meeting of the Southeastern Branch of the Entomological
Society of America runs through Wednesday.
Dr. L. C. 'Fudd' Graham of Auburn University says there will be
experts available in all fields of entomology, including bedbugs,
termites, fire ants, crops, school pest management and other pests.
Teams of four students from each participating university will
compete in a game-show type competition Monday night.
The conference is being held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel
& Spa.
