MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A 5-year-old boy is suspended from
kindergarten after bringing an unloaded gun to school in
Montgomery.
Police said Wednesday the child wasn't being charged with a
crime. But school officials have proposed expelling him, and it
could be a year before he's allowed back in a regular public school
in Alabama.
Police Maj. Huey Thornton said the child found a .38-caliber
handgun in a relative's car and took it into school on Monday. The
child showed the weapon to a friend, who notified administrators.
Thornton said welfare officials were notified and the boy was
kicked out of school. School system spokeswoman Mona Davis said the
Montgomery school board will decide whether to expel him.

lol to funny

Thanks Ickthus…I changed my avatar to humor you.

abigail, nice of you to post up. You are the sum of what you post on here. Step up and be counted. While Kx post are not to my view and I see fix to tell her so, I am glad she is here and feels the need to stand her ground and would gladly have her as my next door neighbor. She cares and means well. I have high hopes for her lol. Don’t read more into it.

Find me a four year old who understands that death is final.  Not understanding does not make the babysitter any less dead.  I don’t know the outcome of that, but the child would have to be punished.  However, life in prison or death should not be the answer.

You know, I didn’t realize that this was a column where one had to defend one’s comments.  I thought it was simply a sharing of comments.  My guess is you enjoy attacking other peoples ideas and principles - right?

This is the end of my comments to you.  I am sure your response won’t be worth reading.

and i had such hope… well people do need wool socks.

What about that 4 year old in Jackson, Ohio who shot his babysitter out of anger back in January?

KxVicious,

Whether you knew right from wrong or I knew right from wrong at 5 is not the point.  By law a child does not reach the age of reason until 7 years old.  I didn’t write the law nor did you. No more responses from me on this subject.  Have a great day and maybe some empathy for a five year old would be nice.

At 5 you learned right for wrong? Why Kx, from some of the things you have posted on had made me wonder.  Your inability to read between the lines of my post just gives ground to the fact that your not seeing all that you post on. There is a whole new world out there when you can see. Part of that is knowing that you can always see more. The other part, the part that really matters is wanting to see it.

lol you did turn 5. Glad you’re almost with us now. Some of the time you really have to think to see what I am posting. I’m not on meds Kx your IQ just gained a point!

Ickthus, I used to find your posts quite delightful. Now I’m having a very hard time deciphering what you’re trying to say. Have you gone off any medications lately?
