Escaped Inmate Captured In Theodore

Alabama Mobile Police say Christopher Gordon escaped from a facility near Birmingham and came back to his old stomping grounds where he has an extensive criminal history.

Mobile police arrested an escaped inmate from the Birmingham area in Theodore.

22-year-old Christopher Gordon escaped from the Childersburg Community Work Center around 11 pm Wednesday. Police spotted a van stolen from the work center in Theodore around 9:00 this morning and pulled it over. Gordon was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.

Gordon has an extensive criminal history in the Mobile area including arrests for receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, and possession of a controlled substance. He was transferred to the Childersburg facility in March.

Hate-it. You are right. And that is a disheartening fact.

I have several in-laws that have been in and out of jail. Every crime they committed was stupid. Duh, you get caught when you steal from your girlfriends dad’s credit cards and guns and use them and pawn the guns. You get caught when you are pulled over for speeding with two stolen jet skis in tow.

Why did these guys do it? Because my mother in law would always bail them out every time the were arrested and hire them a lawyer.

My sons, have been told not to call my house once they have been arrested for breaking any law. So far this method has worked:)
