MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Police say a Mobile man is now charged withmurder in connection with a roadway wreck that killed a motorcycle
rider.
Authorities allege 63-year-old Leon Joseph Smith was under the
influence of alcohol when he collided into 20-year-old Christopher
Gerald Willis of Irvington.
The crash occurred Sept. 27 on Hillcrest Road.
Smith had been charged with DUI, but the charges were upgraded
Thursday.
Police said Smith was re-arrested at his home.
