Warrants were served Wednesday morning at two homes in Prichard. According to Prichard Police they received numerous complaints of drug activity at 1704 Main Street and 922 First Avenue in Prichard. While searching the homes authorities seized Marijuana and Crack Cocaine. Police say this is the fourth narcotic search warrant served at the home on First Ave, where they arrested a brother and sister. There is also an ongoing investigation into a drug related homicide which took place at the same home on First Ave last year.

Twenty-four year-old Willie H. Smith Jr. is charged with two counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, unlawful Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree. Smith was out on bond for drug related charges from another search warrant served at that location last October.

Smith's sister Lakeisha D. Smith, 26-years-old, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 1st degree. She was also out on probation for similar charges and wanted for Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd Degree.

At the other residence on Main Street, 32-year-old Lamarkques C. Norwood was charged with Distribution of Crack Cocaine.

Authorities are looking for another Smith sibling, 30-year-old Kenyon D. Smith (shown right), for Distribution of Crack Cocaine. That Smith was not at home when the warrants were served.

Both residences are within a three mile radius of a school zone, by law five years will be added to each count of distribution if convicted.

Where in Mobile can you NOT be within a “3 mile radius” of a “school zone”?

God!! I just want to slap those faces!! The smug look on all of them. Some lawyer will get them off on a technicality or bs.

He is smiling because he knows he won’t do any time. The justice system is on their side…sadly. I feel bad for the law enforcement officers that work countless hours to bust these low lifes. Soon after, the judge lets them go and they are right back at it again…selling drugs…buying gold teeth…and smiling for their mugshot. Mobile has a serious drug and gang problem, and it is only going to get worse. Ask the police in Houston. Mobile needs to get on the ball and start beefing up the drug task force. Nobody really seems to care, but when this garbage starts spilling over into your neighborhood, you will have wished someone would have nipped it in the bud.
