1:31 p.m.- Mobile police say the driver of a Chevy Blazer was merging into I-65 when they hit a patch of water and then crashed into a Honda Accord. The Blazer then spun into the middle of the interstate where it was hit by the rig of an 18-wheeler.
- The driver of the Blazer was taken to Mobile Infirmary and is listed in critical condition. The truck driver was taken to Springhill Medical Center with minor injuries.
- No charges will be filed because the crash was weather related.
12:15 p.m.
The driver of an SUV had to be pried out of their vehicle after colliding with an 18-wheeler.
The crash happened about 8:30 this morning on N.B. I-65 between Airport Boulevard and Dauphin Street. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital.
Traffic was rerouted off the interstate for several hours.
