Alabama State troopers have identified the drivers involved in a school bus crash this morning.

Investigators say LaDonna Perryman, 16, was driving a 1994 Lexus 300 when she crashed into a Mobile County school bus driven by Marilyn Sessions.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. at Old Pascagoula and Hall Road. Perryman, a student at a Mobile County high school, was life flighted to USA Medical Center where she is in critical condition.

Neither Sessions nor any children on the bus were injured.

I am so sorry to hear about this.  That is a beautiful girl.  We will remember the Perryman’s in our prayers.  God please be with this family.

I’m so thankful too that the kids on the school bus were all safe. It could have been a worse accident. That part of Old Pascagoula Road is heavily traveled with buses that have to cross the state line and then come back out at Dawes picking up kids on that end of of the state line. Then multiply that with kids driving to school and also people trying to get to work. You really don’t need to be distracted by anything at that time of the morning or anytime for that matter.

So terribly sad.

its so sad, all you have to do is take your eyes off the road for a second behind a school bus, i saw something like this on airport a couple of years back. that little girl was a lot more lucky as well as her passenger. my prayers for her and her family.

It does not look good. I will be sure to show my teen tonite what can happen to a driver that is distracted.

I can tell by LaDonna’s Pic that she is a good girl and is in a Great place now.

From the video, it looks to be her fault. I ALWAYS keep a good distance when behind a school bus. You never know when they will be stopping.

They should check her cell phone records, texting and driving is very possible.

My prayers to God for the family.

Sorry for the mistake

My prayers to the family.

How horrible to lose your daughter in an instant!

I just heard from someone who was at the hospital and they said they were going to donate her organs.  When one life ends another begins.

I am so sorry to hear this. I will pray for the Perrymans for strength to get through this.
