A multi million dollar drainage project in Mobile is testing some people's patience.
The Florida Street drainage project has been going on for over a year and half.
Business owners and residents are fed up with having to deal with only one lane of traffic open at a time.
Today, the City says a contractor made the mistake of closing both lanes of traffic.
A spokeswoman for the City tells News Five it will not happen again.
But one business owner claims this isn't the first time this has happened.
"After the first phase everybody should have been on the same page but as of right now today, I don't think one hand knows what the other hand's doing,"Said Hal Metzger, Whistle Stop Cafe.
The City says the Florida Street Project is on schedule. No word yet on when they plan to have it complete.
