The keys were still in the door and the baby was left on the porch.  The two women were inside the house with multiple gunshot wounds to their heads.  Just sounds like it would be difficult for one person to approach these women with three children in tow, force them into that house and then execute them.

Anything is possible, but it is hard to imagine one person controlling that situation.

I think it could have EASILY been one person since they were shot. Think about it. You and your girlfriend and your three kids get home to find someone with a gun…what are you going to do? Run for you life or fight them off to protect the children?

I just still do NOT see this as a home invasion though. Before I moved into this neighborhood, I called the police department to inquire about the types of crime that happened in this neighborhood. Everyone I spoke to said “crime of opportunity—don’t leave stuff out” (like my neighbor’s bike got stolen cuz he forgot to lock it.)

I hope the cops seized any video from the grocery store before those cycle through.  Some one could have been watching them there and followed them home.

Could one person control a scene like this, or would it take at least two?

Does anyone know when these women were last seen?  They were grocery shopping that morning, so someone must have seen them out and about that morning.

At the crime scene the keys to the front door are still dangling from the lock, groceries look like they were suddenly dropped on the porch and a infant is in a car seat sitting on the porch.  Inside the house two women are dead from multiple gunshot wounds.  It sounds like this crime happened very quickly and I doubt anyone hung around for long after all those gunshots.

It sounds very targeted, very brutal and very deliberate.  Not the typical bumbling fool getting caught during a burglary.

pjatlantic -So you think the killer is someone that knows these two brothers?  Knew their wives would be alone on a Thursday morning and likely to have a lot of cash?

Bamabob.. they drove a lexus and a Bmw, living in the low-income area. and you can’t see why they were singled out? these guys had a job where they worked 7 days a week 12 hours a day. Someone obviously has been watching them. People in New Orleans have been getting Kidnapped and held for randsom than murdered.

Someone who is related to the people here are following closelt everything that is going on w/the drug cartels and the stories that follow these horrific killings and I said it sounds alot like what just happened north of this town where 5 men were found killed in an apartment. To me this is too coincidental to be just a home invasion. This sounds to familiar to me. Could’ve been a home invasion gone wrong but people aren’t usually murdered for this.

Plus they might be afraid to go to the police after a robbery.

Don’t be stubborn Kx, all I did was point out the mistakes in your statement about the family member, And the police have not ruled out drugs or robbery so to make the statement that it is definitely drugs would be quite presumptuous.

I have heard of that, but this seems a little complicated for something along those lines.
