Degree For Dad, Mom and Daughter

An entire family is graduating from the University of Mobile on Saturday.

Glen and Lona Brown, along with their daughter Brittney, will be picking up their degrees at the Mobile Civic Center. The trio started together 4 years ago. Even with full-time jobs, Brittney's parents managed to get it done too.

Brittney says she gets asked all the time if she likes her parents being part of her college experience. "The most obvious question is, what's it like to graduate with your parents? They automatically think it's a bad thing. They think ooh your parents are at school. It's so weird. I think it's great."

Brittney says instead of walking off stage after getting her diploma, she will turn around and watch as her parents graduate too.

POOR GIRL! She can’t even get some time alone with her peer group without her parents being there.I can think of a lot of things I wouldn’t have wanted my parents to see or know about.
But that’s really nice to see.
