DESTIN RESIDENT MISSING

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of a Destin woman who has been missing since Friday, January 16th. The last known contact with 43-year old Laurie Lee Kimbell of 3850 Indian Trail, Apartment 208, in Destin was around 7:20 that morning when she talked on the phone to her father in Arkansas.
Her father contacted the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office on Monday. He had travelled to Destin after being unable to reach Kimbell via telephone over the weekend. He found her apartment door unlocked and her car in the front parking lot. Kimbell's purse was inside the apartment.
Kimbell is 5'3" tall, approximately 98 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes.
Due to the unusual circumstances surrounding her disappearance, the Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information on Kimbell's whereabouts to please contact the agency at 850-651-7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Shoppers at 850-863-TIPS.
