Deadly Head-On Collision

- Driver of the pickup truck: 51-year-old Jeffrey Taylor.
- Chrissy Walker is listed in good condition at USA Medical Center and could even be released today.

10:00 p.m. (Tuesday)
- Walker listed in good condition at USA Medical Center.

7:00 p.m. (Tuesday)
-News 5 learns a man and his niece were two of the people involved in the wrong way crash on I-65. The sister of Bo Skipper tells news 5 her brother was killed in the crash.
- Skipper's niece, 27-year-old Chrissy Walker, was flown to USA Medical Center. She is banged up, but expected to survive.
- The name of the pickup truck driver, who was killed, has not been released.

3:50 p.m. (Tuesday)
- Lt. Danny Walker with Saraland Police tells News 5 they believe the driver of a pick-up truck got onto I-65 around the exit for Chickasaw (Exit 13) and drove the wrong way for two miles before hitting a car head-on.
- The driver of the pickup was killed as well as the driver of the second vehicle.
- The woman who was flown to USA was a passenger in the second vehicle.
- No one in the third vehicle was injured.

3:25 p.m.(Tuesday)
News 5's Steve Alexander says state troopers have reopened all lanes of southbound I-65, despite warnings from EMA that the interstate could be closed for several hours.

2:56 p.m (Tuesday)
Mobile County EMA says southbound I-65 between Hwy 43 in Satsuma and Celeste Road in Saraland will be closed for the next few hours.

2:10 p.m. (Tuesday)
A 27-year-old female passenager was taken by Lifeflight to USA Medical Center.

2:02 p.m. (Tuesday)
Southbound lanes of I-65 closed just north of Celeste Road in Saraland. At least two people are dead and one injured.

Is there any new info today? Names, alchol, drugs, old age that may have caused this accicent?

prayers are with everyone involved.how so very sad something like this happened-thats right you never know!..does anyone know any names yet of Any of the victims? My sons father -whom he hasnt seen in 10 yrs last lived in Creola/Saraland and I cringe everytime I hear of something that way…Posey is his last name ,married to a Smith ...would this road happen to be anywhere the Dead lake road area? I hope everyone recovers that survived and pray for the family & friends of who didnt..how tragic…
