My son is an assistant manager of a grocery store and I tell him daily there is nothing in that store worth risking his life over.  People are desperate and will stab you, shoot you or other.  About 3 weeks ago his Manager, which is a female, caught a 16 year old boy shoplifting some poptarts and she literally form-tackled the suspect in the middle of the store.  Watching the security video is funny now but the fact is his parents could actually sue her and the company for assault.  It is a screwed up world we live in ...

i am glad the clerk is ok, thankful the customers were there to help, but nothing in that store is worth putting yourself at risk. everything in a store can be replaced but the clerk. i hope the courts do not let this man out for a while.

I wonder if he’ll learn anything from those knots on his head?
