The event has been rescheduled for June 6 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Do you remember the days of the 57 Chevy? Would you like to admire a vintage Ford Thunderbird?

Over 600 antique cars and motorcycles will be on display at Battleship Park this Saturday, May 23rd. It's a fundraiser to build a new memorial dedicated to those 90 plus Alabamians who lost their lives during Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom. THe memorial should be complete by next Memorial Day, if enough funds are raised.

The Cruise-In takes place from 9AM-3PM. A ten dollar donation per family is suggested.

BLAH, looks like Mobile has the Best of everything, i’m still stuck in the mud up North. One day, i’m gonna Make Mobile my Home, cuz home is Always where the Heart is!

They don’t build ‘em like the used to for sure. My faves-anything Jeep or the 66-68 Mustangs. I hate the way though the tax assessor “penalizes” you for having a vintage car though-if you get one of those vintage tags, you can’t drive it (except for shows and parades-at least that was a few years ago). Silly.

I REALLY got into antique cars a couple of years ago, when I surprised my husband with the first truck he ever owned, completely restored, for his birthday. And yes, it was THE truck.

I wish scotty would be my chauffeur, it gets harder and harder to hire one to take a me somewhere.

Telepathic Transport is the only way to go.

Beam me up scotty!

i am happy with my chauffeur.

They’re nice but I still prefer my little Maybach Exelero!

I love antique cars.  My ex and I had a 54 Ford Customline auto brake and transmission with a 350 corvette engine.  It is fine.  He drives it everyday to and fro.

Do I remember the 57 Chevy?  It was one of my dream cars, but I settled for a ‘56 Chevy and never could quiet keep that thing on the road.  It was one of those moments of awakening that occur throughout life.  The dream and the cash do not always coincide.
