Crimson Tide Ranked No. 5 In Pre-Season Coaches Poll

Florida Alabama Alabama trails Florida Texas Oklahoma and Southern California in the rankings released Friday but didn't receive any first-place votes.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama is ranked fifth in the USA Today
preseason Top 25 college football coaches poll.
The Crimson Tide trailed only Florida, Texas, Oklahoma and
Southern California in the rankings released Friday but didn't
receive any first-place votes. Alabama finished last season ranked
No. 6 in the poll.
Two other Southeastern Conference Western Division teams - LSU
and Mississippi - rounded out the Top 10. Georgia was 13th while no
other SEC teams were ranked.
Auburn received 12 points while Troy got one.

I just saw an interesting stat. Bama was ranked #1 last year more weeks than Auburn has been in their entire history. RTR! can’t wait for Sept. 5th.

My parents will not let me put anything Auburn on my 2 year old. If my step-dad sees her with something other than Alabama on he flips. So he made it a point to go out and get her a little Alabama cheer leading outfit so that I had no excuses. Does not bother me too much. Looks like I lost her already. :( You know how little girls are with the grand- dads.

Roll Tide! I started us #1 in my preason poll and the coaches aren’t far behind. Out of 120 teams, they feel Alabama has the 5th best chance at winning it all. I think we will win all.

Less that a month to go and the Tide will be on the road to the National Championship.
