MOBILE, Alabama - Police have arrested a man they say carjacked a woman in her driveway.

According to police, the 53-year-old female victim pulled into her driveway on Cecilia Street around 9:30 p.m. on September 27. Before she could get inside, police say Christopher Jackson walked up with a gun and demanded her keys.

Jackson took off in the woman's 1991 Lexus. The car was recovered 10 days later on Rail Road Street. Jackson was arrested over the weekend and charged with robbery. He also had an outstanding warrant for a theft.

this is what kind of jungle our whole country has turned into! hey people, look around, it’s gonna get way worse! welcome to change we can choke on!

I have been tracking the crime in Mobile and am pretty horrified (being new to the area) but I am increasingly impressed with the Mobile area Law Enforcement. There seems to be really good, consistent police work. Really encouraging.

Off-not of MLK.

Cecilia Street is in Toulminville off Stanton. I think this particular Railroad Street, I am guessing,is the one of MLK in the Plateau community….It wouldn’t make sense to me for it to be the one in Bayou La Batre,Mt. Vernon,or Citronelle. Just a guess though.

Where is Cecilia Street? Where is Rail Road Street, or which Railroad Street is this referring to?
