RICHMOND, Virginia - (AP) - Convicted sniper John Allen Muhammad will
die by lethal injection when he is executed next month.
Virginia Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor says
Muhammad declined to choose between lethal injection and
electrocution, so under state law the method defaults to lethal
injection.
Muhammad is scheduled to be executed on Nov. 10 for the October
2002 slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a Manassas gas station during
a string of shootings.
In all, 10 people were killed were in four states, including
Alabama and Louisiana, before Muhammad and a co-defendant moved on
to Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia for a rampage
that terrified residents of the D.C. region. Six people also were
wounded.
Muhammad's teenage co-defendant Lee Boyd Malvo is serving a life
sentence.

totally agree

I’ll be surprised if it happens as scheduled.  Realistically, killers spend 30 years on death row before their sentence is carried out.

The only other recent, timely one I can think of was Timothy McVeigh, the OK City bomber.

and not a moment too soon! has anyone ever mentioned that these two thugs were also gay? yes, they were lovers while they murdered innocent people for fun! maybe they should be put to sleep together, holding hands or something! would it not save the taxpayers some money by getting two for the price of one?
