Christian Magazine The Southern Baptist Convention yanked magazine featuring five female pastors off store shelves because women pastors go against their beliefs.

ATLANTA (AP) - The five women on the cover are dressed in black
and smiling - not an uncommon strategy for selling magazines.
But these cover girls are women of the cloth, featured in Gospel
Today magazine's latest issue, which the Southern Baptist
Convention has pulled from its bookstores.
The group says women pastors go against their beliefs, according
to their interpretation of the New Testament. The magazine was
taken off stands in more than 100 Lifeway Christian Bookstores
across the country, including those in the metro Atlanta area.
Nationally, the Southern Baptists have adopted statements
discouraging women from being pastors, but the churches are
independent and a few have selected women to lead their
congregations.

If these ladies are going to preach the Bible and be respected and heard while their male counterparts are being charged with molestation in the churches. It sounds like to me the devil is working overtime.

Theology and hermeneutics aside, surely the SBC harbors a small cell of Obama/Biden supporters! (Perhaps a sleeper cell that’s just been bidin’ its time!) With McCain/Palin just nominated, NOBODY would start a ruckus like this right now otherwise! After all, MEN are WAY too smart for that!

If a women leads a Church and that Church brings lost souls to salvation can one assume that because the lost souls were led by a women then they really aren’t saved? Also, since the Bible doesn’t condone the woman as a preacher what will happen to her for disobeying the Bible?

The bible tells us that the role of a woman is to teach the young women to be sober,to love their husbands, to love their children,etc. God did not give women permission to teach over men.
