CITRONELLE, Alabama - Around Citronelle High School you’ll see black ribbons tied to old oak trees. Several students are wearing black arm bands with the number “74” emblazoned on them. That was Josh Creagh’s number. The high school sophomore was killed in a car wreck Thursday night. Josh was a passenger. The driver, high school senior Kendrick Refour is expected to recover. Both young men were thrown from the car; Josh was airlifted to USA Medical Center but later died from his injuries. Citronelle Police say it doesn’t appear the young men were wearing seat belts. Family and friends say Josh was a good young man who always left people smiling. You can see my full story here.

To: Synchronicity…..You inconsiderate BOOB!!!!! A well-liked young mans life has been cut way too short, and all you can think about is teen drivers slowing down? Your timing could not have been worse or your comment more horrific. What about prayers for his surviving family and his friends at school, I’m surely offering them from up here in Washington State.

IM SOOO HURT BY THIS, HE WAS A CHILD HOOD FRIEND. IVE KNOWN HIM SINCE I WAS LIKE 3. HE GONE BUT NEVER 4GOTTEN. HE WAS VERY SWEET, AND THE ROAD IS DANGEROUS SO JUST HUSH ABOUT TEENS SLOWING DOWN! CITRONELLE ROAD IS VERY DANGEROUS. ITS DEADLY LOTS OF PPL HAVE DIED ON THAT ROAD.

Prayers are beling lifted for this young man and his family, friends, and the Citronelle High School Family by the Faith Academy Family. He and his team were supposed to play football against us tonight. We were so saddened to hear about this tragic news. Again, we are sending our prayers.

What’s it going to take to make teen drivers slow down?  Why don’t their adult role models follow traffic laws?

Our son started 1st grade with Josh and he had grown into a wonderful young man.  Our family will miss his smile. Our prayers are with his family.
