A Mississippi woman is pleading not guilty to the 28 year old murder of a University of South Alabama student. In a bond hearing yesterday, Jamie Letson's attorney, Chris Klotz, requested a bond reduction.
State prosecutors countered that request stating they believe Letson is a flight risk.
Letson is accused of murdering U.S.A Freshman Katherine Foster, back in 1980.
Judge Michael Youngpeter will not decide until next week whether to reduce Letson's half a million dollar bond.
A trial date has been set for May.
