BREAKING NEWSThe Coast Guard has called off its search for Ocean Springs police officer Stephen Bond.
Bond and four other people were in a boat that capsized Sunday about three miles west of Horn Island, Mississippi. The Coast Guard rescued Officer Michael Green, his girlfriend Becky Welch, Officer Jonathan Navas and his wife Whitney just before Noon on Monday.
Coast Guard crews from Mobile, Gulfport, Pascagoula and New Orleans searched 57 hours for Bond, covering an area twice the size of Rhode Island.
Ocean Springs police reiterated they will continue searching until they find Bond.
