ATLANTA (AP) - Tim Tebow is the top offensive player in theSoutheastern Conference for the second year in a row, and Alabama's
Nick Saban took the coach of the year award handed out Monday by
The Associated Press.
Tennessee safety Eric Berry was named SEC defensive player of
the year, and Alabama receiver Julio Jones was picked as the top
freshman.
Tebow, last year's Heisman Trophy winner, guided the Gators to a
12-1 record, the SEC championship and a spot in the national title
game.
