Charges Upgraded In Accidental Shooting

Mobile police have upgraded the charges against a 15-year-old boy accused in the accidental shooting death of an honor roll student.

14-year-old Nubian James, an honors student at Williamson High School, was shot in the head Monday night at a home on Woodlawn Drive South. James was transported to USA Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 10:15 p.m. Thursday.

Homicide investigators determined James and two other teenagers were playing with a gun when it accidentally went off. One of the teenagers was orginally charged with assault. Those charges have now been upgraded to manslaughter. The 15-year-old remains in custody at Strickland Youth Center.

PS: I think it’s spelled “sense” and not “CENSE” usually I’m not one to say something about someone’s spelling, however it doesn’t make much sense to talk about other people’s intelligence, if you don’t use your own.

PS: other than your use of all capitol letters, I agree with everything else you said!

pray for all the familys involved.we know guns are dangerous and children should not be allowed to play with them. where did this gun come from? was it registerd? how did they get it? for everyone who has a gun PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE lock them up.
