For a lot of these susposedly BIPOLAR people it’s just another way to get out of being responsible for their actions and maybe some freebies down the line from the local, state and federal goverments. Are there some crazy ones out there? There sure is,and they should be some place where they could be helped and kept close eyes on and not allowed to run amuk with no supervision on the streets. I believe every one should be held responsible for what they do even if they are mentally ill.

wow, i did not notice that. thanks billydkid

mysonsmom, i am sorry she lost her dad, but being bipolar is no excuse to take the other person with you if you want to die. i am thankful both are ok.

I know of this girl. she is bipolar. that is why she did that. u should know what you are talkin about b4 you coment on something

Okay, I don’t get it.  When I listened to the briefing one of the reporters asked the officials was there any truth that Ms. Langley’s father had recently died and she wanted to be with him?  The officers said that they couldn’t confirm that (or something like that) but my question is why would she want to take this poor other soul with her?  It is one thing if you want to hurt yourself but it is a whole different story when you ATTEMPT to hurt someone else.  And another thing why is there no charges being filed against this woman?  She tried to kill herself and her passenger?  She put the lives of the rescuers at risk by having to come out and search for her.  I am sorry but I think this was a horrid attempt for attention which could have cost someone other than herself their life.  Charge her with felony endangerment.

Why do people who want to kill themselves want to take others with them?
