
During the chase, police say Jackson drove into oncoming traffic. It ended when Jackson hit another car at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King and Carstens Street. Shontrell Burke, Adrian Marks, and Marks' 2-year-old daughter Alasia, were in the car that was hit. All three were taken to USA Medical Center where Alasia was pronounced dead. Burke was released around 6:00 p.m. Marks, who is pregnant, is still in the hospital.
Jackson is charged with murder, two counts of assault, felony attempting to elude police and possession of a controlled substance.
