A dramatic scene in the rain Tuesday night on Interstate Ten in Mobile.
A car with three women inside flipped over before landing back on its wheels.
The accident happened in the left lane of I-10 east bound west of the Virginia Street exit about 7:30.
All three women appeared to suffer injuries, though none life threatening.
Anxious friends who drove up to the scene rushed to a waiting ambulance.
One man who said he saw the car spin out said heavy rain may have been a factor.
Chuck Crowder said, "The water was kind of piled up back down here, stacking up on the inside lane. And I saw her come around and, basically, overcorrect, lose control, hit the wall, flip twice, and the car backed into the wall two times and finally came to rest facing the opposite direction."
The accident didn't cause any major traffic backups.

People need to realize that it does not take an abundance of water to hydroplane. All you need is the slightest bit of rain. One jerk of that wheel or slamming on breaks and you better get ready to tuck and roll. I am glad that no one was hurt too bad. At least they will be able and have the chance to hopefully learn to slow it down next time.

Well since I log about 150 miles per day round this city I only have 2 words for EVERYBODY who drives our interstates———-SLOW DOWN!!!
