Crash Car A car slams into the WKRG building.

MOBILE, alabama - A car slammed into the side of WKRG Wednesday evening. Police say the driver of the car had a seizure and lost control. The unidentifed man left the Target parking lot on Bel Air Boulevard shortly before 6:15PM with a female companion. That's when the man had a seizure. The car sped across Bel Air onto Broadcast Drive. It then jumped a curb by the Channel 5 building and slammed into the brick wall. The unidentified woman actually jumped from the car before it hit the building. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman had minor injuries. Police say the car appears to be a total loss.

this is a sad thing hope this guy will be okay, and the lady passenger. Just want to say Glad to see Bill back, so if Jennifer Abney close behind? Sure hope so. Maybe I could start watching the morning program again, I had to leave channel 5 in the morning when Jennifer Abney and Bill left, it just did not have the same home feeling, don’t get me wrong the other people are nice, just not the same chemistry you need in the morning. She doesn’t have the answers to everything….I will be good….

I wonder if he had a history of seizures, or if this was new onset? Either way,scary stuff.It could have been worse in so many ways. Glad no one was seriously hurt or worse,killed.

no wonder chad petri avoids that building and spends all his time in hotels for work, he is just being prudently safe

Where are the police? that evil building needs to be tazed for jumping in front of that car. Hurry, before it locks all the WKRG employees in a bathroom for hours. Is anyone supervising that building?

For the person who said poor building what about the people involved. Bricks and morter can be restored but human life is more precious than anything material.You should have more compassion when you speak. It could have been your family member. Stop and think before you speak. That’s someone’s child you are talking about.
