Police tow cars for the wrong reasons quite frequently. Although cars have been parking on Sundays in front of churches on Dauphin street, there are faded signs designating where you can park and there are lines of cars parked there all morning, the cops MISS all that and decide to tow one lone kinda trashy looking truck. Guess they thought my hoopty truck didnt look like it belonged and the Methodist church?
we are positive…she spoke with her bank the car dealership ... everyone and the cops wouldnt let her file the report if it was LEGALLY taken… the officer siad that whoever is to tow a car is to report it in to the authorities with the vin# so they dont waste their time with useless stolen car reports whenever one is indeed repoed! and the cop had nothing, she was in good standing with the payments. so i dont know, the cop told us that they are seeing more and more cars being stolen in the past 2 weeks then they have seen in awhile.
Are you sure it wasn’t the repo man? Unusual for someone to use a wrecker to steal a car.
do they know they make of this car??? also my neighbor just had her car stolen in broad daylight around 10 am someone called her and was wondering if she broke down ...she said no and he said i passed your car on a tow truck… come to find out it wasnt in her driveway like she thought. she filed a stolen car report with the police. the tow truck was red with no bed and was dragging the charger by its back wheels. it has 2 black racing stripes and a dodge ram head on the hood. and it has 22 inch rims.
must be a cheap fence if that car bumper could snap it open so easily.
