Burglary Prichard Police Department Four break ins in less than two weeks in Prichard's Bessemer Community.

A burglar is on the loose in Prichard's Bessemer Community. Neighbors tell News Five thieves stole from four homes along Marsha S. Ratchford Street in less than two weeks. One neighbor says her Christmas presents were stolen including her son's Microsoft X-Box 360. Molly Payne had an alarm installed after thieves broke into her home on Monday. "My back door had been kicked in and my furniture was turned over, mattress turned over, clothes pulled out of my closet, my drawers emptied out and stuff was missing,"Said Payne.
The burglaries have been happening during the day. Neighbors hope to start a neighborhood watch.
