A busy burglar is busted by the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office because of a stolen air conditioning window unit. On Monday, a deputy went to the Hunters Chase Subdivision on Highway 98 in Foley to investigate numerous burglaries. During a canvas of the area, the deputy located some of the stolen items at home in the subdivision -- including an a/c unit that was now sitting in a window.
The deputy knocked on the door. Jennifer Raley, the woman who lives there, said her boyfriend gave her the air conditioner. During a search of the home, the deputy found the boyfriend, Carlos Cuellar, hiding in a bedroom closet.
The Sheriff's Office says Cuellar confessed to taking the items from unlocked garages and storage sheds and a truck. Cuellar is charged with burglary and is being held on $20,000 bond.
