Just please don’t take Bruno’s at University & Airport! It’s the only 24 hour grocery store in town!!!

That’s why there’s going to be a dollar balance. This bank is all over Alabama, not just Fairhope.

Sounds like another one is about to bite the dust.  The fed’s usually show up at closing and take over during the night.  They will then run it until they can unload it on some other bank.

I think accounts are now insured up to $250,000, but your money could get tied up for a while.

bamabob, I am talking about a bank in fairhope I won’t call the name, but the last words she said about 30 minutes ago to me was” so long as your money is under the FDIC limit” you won’t lose any money”  So guess who will only be keeping a 1.00 balance. She did say they “Weren’t closing their door at this moment, there were things they could do, like no loan, liquedate(?) things, etc. But my son told me about it last night and i told him he was crazy, (of course I checked it out). And that is what i learned. So it is already known about in fairhope.

bfa - You talking about a local community bank being in trouble?  What’s the rest of the story?

bamabob, our banking system? who would have thought a bank here would be in the shape it is in, I heard rumor, i don’t trust rumor so I call top guy, it’s true. What’s happening to us?

Yeah, once us seniors start mysteriously disappearing, get T. Craig to do a DNA test on those crackers!

At least the govt didn’t step in and take over.  It now has its grip on our banking system, auto manufacturing and real estate.  Once it has control of our food supply we will all be drones walking around in our govt issued uniforms! 

Well this is just another sign of the times people.
