Alabama Mobile Two brothers who police say committed an armed robbery while out on bond for other crimes were back in court Tuesday.

Two brothers who police say committed an armed robbery while out on bond for other crimes were back in court Tuesday. Anthomas and Brandon Carr are accused of robbing the CVS store on Dauphin Street back in April while they were both out on bond for separate crimes. The two were in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing. The prosecution and police say the Carr brothers and their alleged accomplice, Antonio Brown, are part of a larger robbery ring. But, their defense attorneys say that's not the case,"my client ain't a part of nobody's ring. He don't even have a ring. I mean his telephone just goes thud, it don't ring," said Antonio Brown's attorney, Bob Clark. "I think it's a lot of hype, that, there wont be any evidence connecting the Carrs to any large organization. I don't even know if they know how to work computers to associate with anybody else. So, I don't think that'll pan out in the future," said the Carrs brothers' attorney, Jeff Deen. While the Carr brothers are being held without bond in this case, their alleged accomplice, Antonio Brown, was given a 50-thousand dollar bond at Tuesday's preliminary hearing. The case will now go before a grand jury. Mobile Police and the F.B.I. are still investigating.

Yes I saw the defense attorney on the news cussing ... i think he suits the defendants just fine ha!

well we are paying for that defense and its a lot better than what i would give them they never should have been out in the first place

If i had a defense attorny that spoke like that, I would fire him in a heartbeat and get one that sounded educated.

we had a gentleman come into our business several months ago and was taking pictures of our register with a cell phone maybe thats what they use the cell phones for
