A Clarke County man is being called a hero after saving a woman who jumped off a bridge.
Witnesses say Tuesday, they saw a woman lay her cell phone down on the Joe McCorquodale bridge on Highway 43 then jumped in the water below.
She fell at least 97 feet before hitting the water.
Chris Mosely was able to follow a trail below the bridge and jumped in the water to save the woman.
His act of kindness paid off.
"i just done what I thought was right thing to do, you know I didn't think about it. Nothing like that every crossed my mind I just knew that I was at the time was the only one there she was going to get saved and it was going to be up to me," said Clarke County resident Chris Mosely.
The unidentified woman is in the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say she's very lucky to have survived that long of a fall.

Police say she is very lucky.  She will be lucky if she decides that life is worth living.  I hope that the woman gets some psychiatric help.
