I know this woman and she was a very good teacher and grant writer but hanging around with crooks
like my ex-wife evidently rubbed off on her. The
Brewton School System is basically very good but
like all organizations has some weak links.

I would agree katie,if she had been proven GUILTY. But as butterfly said,it was an arrest, not a conviction. So she is tried in the media, her name and reputation are ruined, and for what? A higher standard,yes-but still the same benefit of being innocent until PROVEN guilty,as anyone else.

Note: Mother, sister, 2 cousins, and aunt all teachers.

Exactly she was arrested…not proven guilty. Heck it could be she had a couple of pain pils perscribed to her but just not in the bottle or packages.

All arrests are not keeppers of our children. They are not our childrens teacher. Teachers should be held to a higher standard because of the children. I want to know if anyone careing for my children are arrested, be it childcare provider, ball coach, bus driver or anyone around children. Name the profession it doesn’t matter.

Note: daughter is a teacher

Yes, they do…but it isn’t your common criminal who has their profession listed either. Not seeing any stories about construction workers busted on controlled substances, etc…

The media always report on arrests(she is no diff than others), it did not say she was guilty, only that she was arrested, after undercover investigation.

Who’s judging and executing the lady? I haven’t read that anywhere.

Undercover cops are often worse then the people they prosecute and should only be necessary investigating capital crimes.

Who are you to judge this woman.  She worked hard for her degree.  Everyone makes mistakes.  Looks like she made hers.  She will have to deal with it and I hope she gets help.  Why is everyone so quick to execute ppl.

I didn’t think of any certain drug, I thought she must have done something illegal.
